These Are Not Tutorials

Hi there, I'm going to assume if you are here, that you either don't know how to use the internet very proficiently. OR are at least potentially interested in costuming, historical reenactment, making things out of spare parts that you have in your hoard- I mean collection. Ahem.

I have been doing cosplay and costuming for many years; partially because I live in New Orleans and it's just sort of a way of life here, and mostly because I f***ing love it. 
Recently, I've started exploring historical costuming, with the help of my local SCA group and THE INTERWEBS I am learning all about historical clothing research, sewing, pattern making, leatherworking... you get the idea. 

I'm having a blast with it, but I should be very clear- I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT I'M DOING AND ANYTHING ON THIS SITE SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A TUTORIAL.
